Fine White Bamboo Matcha Chasen

Sculpted from premium Hachiku (Henon White Bamboo), renowned for its ultra-fine grain and inherent resilience, this whisk ensures a seamless, velvety matcha experience. The refined bamboo lines enhance both its aesthetic allure and functional precision.

The Shin Chasen is a versatile matcha whisk, featuring approximately 64 tines. This design positions it between the finely-tined Usucha Chasen, ideal for creating a light, frothy matcha, and the more robust Koicha Chasen, suited for preparing a thicker, richer matcha.

Presentation and Care: Each chasen is elegantly encased in a protective box. Immerse in warm water before initial use to soften the prongs.

After each use, rinse your chasen under warm water to remove matcha residue. Avoid using soap, as it can damage the bamboo. Gently shake off excess water and allow the whisk to air dry completely, preferably on a whisk holder to maintain its shape and prevent mold growth. 

Due to the natural variations in bamboo and the handcrafted nature of the chasen, slight differences in size, capacity, and appearance may occur.
