How to prepare Sift with Care Start with 3 grams of matcha, sifting it into your bowl to ensure a smooth, fine texture. Whisk to Life Add 50 milliliters of warm water (around 70°C). With your chasen, whisk in a "W" motion until the matcha becomes frothy, revealing its sweet, umami, and earthy, chocolaty, nutty notes. Hot Warm 250 milliliters of coconut, oat, almond or soy milk blending it with the matcha. Sweeten lightly with honey, maple, or vanilla, if desired. Iced Pour chilled coconut, oat, almond or soy milk over ice, then add the whisked matcha. Sweeten lightly with honey, maple, or vanilla, if desired. |
